US Patent No. 11,904,038 B2 (Tae Sun Park); Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Yonsei University, Seoul, has patented a method for preventing or treating hair loss, or promoting hair development or hair growth that entails administering a composition including α-phellandrene or β-phellandrene or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
